Published by The Golden Head Press, Cambridge, 1955. No. 362 out of a limited edition of 500. Hand numbered. Gosse was an English naturalist and scientist, and inventor of the seawater aquarium.

Very good, approaching near fine, burgundy cloth hardback. A few small marks and minor bumps on the cover. Text is beautifully clean with a hand coloured frontispiece.
