Gilt armorial to front cover with tooled gilt spine with raised bands. Some mild wear. Spine is sunned. Marbled endpapers and gilt top edge to text block. Soundly bound.
Mild offset spotting to marbled endpapers, and with text bright and clean throughout. Maps also bright and clean. Occasional vertical marginal edge trimming, not affecting text (probably a small production flaw), but as issued. A well respected and comprehensive work, attractively presented.
