A good green cloth hardback with gilt title to spine and blind embossed motif to front cover, Some bumping to corners breaking the cloth and slight wear to head and tail of spine. Some give in the binding - partially split at joint after the frontispiece portrait.

The text is very good - there is some offsetting to endpapers and some spotting to pages at either end of the book, but otherwise text is clean and bright. Minor spotting to edge of text block. Top edge is gilt.
