A good set of taupe cloth hardbacks with elaborate gilded crest to front and gilt spine design. Covers with some scuffing and bumping, and a little worn to head and tail of spine.

Text is very good - bright and clean throughout, with red keylines throughout. Some mild spotting to vertical edge of text block and occasional light spotting elsewhere - particularly at early pages/title spreads. With owner's ink stamp, and small bookseller's and binder's stickers. Soundly bound. Small tear at top of title page to 'Sybil' volume. Some mild markings to decorated endpapers. Occasional page edge still uncut.

An attractive set which would make a nice addition to any library shelf.
