A first edition of one of Angus MacVicar's most acclaimed thrillers, with its original dustacket. Born in 1908, this respected Scottish author lived until 2001. He wrote crime thrillers, juvenile science fiction and autobiography. Interestingly, his 'Lost Planet' sci-fi series was the first science fiction series translated into Hebrew and had a significant impact in building the popularity of the genre in Israel.

A good black cloth hardback with printed titles to spine. With light wear and small indent to rear top edge. With good original dustjacket - intact and not price clipped. Edges with old tape residue marks to both exterior and interior. Jacket with ring mark to rear, light soiling and some nibbles to extremities. Jacket now housed in protective, removable, clear plastic. Soundly bound.

Text is generally bright and clean, with offset tape residue marks from dustjacket to free endpapers. A few light spots to edge of text block.
