A good full leather hardback with raised bands and gilt tile to spine. Some bumping and mild wear. Spine sun faded. Marbled endpapers with offsetting opposite leather edges. Some marks and a small loss to page edge on first few blanks. Some offsetting opposite portrait frontispiece on tissue guard.

Text is bright and clean, with bright gilt edges to text block. The contents page showing holes around sewing, but still bound. Some showthrough at rear blanks. All remaining text soundly bound.
