These mid 20th Century Burmese lacquer bowls feature a beautiful Yun design from Pagan (Bagan). Yok-thei pattern - the design incorporates stylised riding and striding human figures, amongst trees amidst vegetal scrolling. On the rear of all 3 bowls is an attractive peacock design.

Condition is very good. A most attractive group. Price is for the 3 bowl set. There will be small variations in size and design between the 3 bowls due to hand made nature.

Provenance: the property of an American diplomat, stationed in Asia in the 1950s and 60s.
