Published by Grant and Griffith, London, 1850. Fifth edition with Thirty-six Steel Engravings (first published in 1826). Scarce.

A near fine hardback with full navy blue leather covers in chagrin stye, with elaborate gilding and raised bands. Minor bumping and wear to extremities. Bright and shiny gilt edges to all sides of text block.

With owner's inscription to endpaper. Slight offsetting to title pages spread, but text clean and bright throughout. Soundly bound. An attractive volume, well illustrated throughout.
