An Italian private press issue by the noted Sicilian artist and illustrator, Bruno Caruso, exploring the expressive and creative possibilities of the human hand...

La Mano Dell'Uomo, by Bruno Caruso.

This booklet by Bruno Caruso was printed under the supervision of Enzo Crea for Edizioni dell’Elefante by the Tipografica Editrice Romana, in an edition of 500 copies. Rome, New Year, 1965. First edition.

A very good booklet featuring printed red card covers and 16 printed text pages inside, glued into covers. Please note: the only bond between the text block and covers is just a simple glue line along the spine of the text - this is likely to detach at some point in the future due to its nature. Covers with light wear and mild sunning to extremities.

Text is bright and clean throughout. Printed on a high quality paper stock.

Provenance: With the blind-stamped roundel of the Neatham Mill Library (T.W.), the private collection of Dr Trevor Weston of Neatham Mill, Holybourne, Hampshire. Weston, a London physician who later established Clarion Publishing from Neatham Mill, was an active figure in the British fine press and private press world, and his library is known for its emphasis on well-produced and illustrated books.

Text in Italian.

Covers + 16pp text, featuring 14 line illustrations.
