Published by Oxford University Press, New York and London. Printed in the USA, but this is the UK edition, evidenced by the £ sterling price on the dustjacket flaps. Part of their 'The World's Classics' series. First hardback edition thus, from 1989.

A near fine set of hardbacks with black paper over boards, with blind embossed front cover and with cream linen spines with gilt titles. All with near fine dustjackets with some age discoloration to interior edges.

Text is clean, bright and soundly bound. Some minor cloth creasing to the spines of larger volumes.
