Overall, a very good set of books bound in maroon limp leather over stiff card. Just minor wear and bumping, with gilt edges to text block. Spines are slightly sunned, but still very presentable. Text bright and clean. Marbled endpapers. All soundly bound. An attractive and decorative set. The Cowper volume has a cracked inner front cover.
