The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien remains one of the most beloved classics of modern literature, introducing readers to Middle-earth and the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf, and the company of dwarves on their quest to reclaim the Lonely Mountain. First published in 1937, it has captivated generations with its blend of humour, courage, and wonder. Revered both as a children’s tale and as the foundation for The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit endures as a timeless masterpiece of fantasy storytelling.
