A good hardback in original Publisher's green cloth with printed cover design. Cover is clean and clear with light bumping. With some give in the spine - endpaper is cracked at rear hinge. Pictorial map endpapers are bright and clean.

With original dustjacket in good condition - nibbled and chipped to extremities, and spine a little toned. Price clipped to front inner flap. Now housed in protective, removable, clear plastic. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper (blank reverse of front map endpaper).

Includes 5 colour plates and black and white illustrations elsewhere.

Text is clean and bright throughout with no spotting or owner's marks.

Always pleasing to find with the original jacket.
