Published by Mundell and Son, Edinburgh, 1791. First edition thus, comprising bound editions form Wednesday, May 11, 1791 to Wednesday, August 31, 1791.
A good copy of this interesting 18th Century journal. Bound with leather spine with title panel, with leather corners. Marbled paper over boards. Covers bumped, scuffed and worn with some creasing and wear to joints, making covers a little fragile, but all still bound.
Previous owners' signatures at front, in ink and pencil, with some scattered annotations. Text is good throughout with scattered minor flaws such as occasional spotting, creasing or small corner tear.
