We have recently acquired a collection of books on theology and religion. Some will will be listing as individual titles, but others we will be bundling into sets which will offer very good value for money.

This set comprises;

A set of uniformly bound hardbacks in modern brown cloth bindings with gilt titles. A near fine set overall.

Each book contains Zeitschrift fur die Neutestamentliche Wissenschaft und Die Kunde Der Alteren Kirche (Journal of New Testament Scholarship and Lore of the Ancient Church). The set consists of 16 Volumes including 1925, 1930, 1934, 1954-1959, 1961-1965, 1970 and 1981. They carry Volume Numbers 24, 29, 33, 45-50, 52-56, 61 and 72.

Initially, by Erwin Preuschen and Hans Lietzmann, with others in later years.

Published by Alfred Topelmann initially in Giessen, and later in Berlin. From 1970, they are published by Walter de Gruyter, Berlin and New York. This is presumably a reprint edition set.

The occasional cover has some minor flaws and there are also infrequent scholarly pencil annotations. All soundly bound. Text is clean and bright. A lovely set.
