Antique Indian Alabaster deity with Vahana, 15.5cm high.

This alabaster statue depicts a four-armed Indian Goddess astride her vahana - a parrot.

This is most likely Rati, the Indian Goddess of love, pleasure and passion (daughter of Daksha and wife of Kama, the principal God of love).

Dimensions: 15.5cm high x 10cm wide x 4.5cm deep.

Weight approx 1kg.

Pale alabaster with polychrome decoration with age-related wear. Stone is robust and solid.
