A good blue cloth hardback with gilt titles to front and spine and blind embossed pattern to front. Some light scuffing and bumping. With black endpapers and small embossed bookseller's stamp to first free endpaper. The endpapers just starting to crack at inner hinge. A little strained at gutters.

Spotting to endpapers and first and last few pages including title page. Spotting also to text block edge and scattered marginal spots. Text otherwise bright and clean and plates well presented. Tissue guard heavily spotted. One plate is partially detached.
