Published 10 May 1840 in conjunction with la Societe des Bibliophiles Francais, printed by Crapelet, and sold at Silvestre, Rue des Bon-Enfants, Paris. This is a facsimile printing of a work by the French poet and author, Jean (or Jehan) d'Abundance, originally published in the 16th Century.

A very good copy of this scarce publication. Rebound in a beautiful fine binding; three quarters leather with marbled boards. Cover with 5 raised bands and gilt title. Spine is sun faded (though in an attractive manner). A beautiful little book, with blue title pages and the facsimile faithfully reproduced with varying page widths as issued, and wonderful woodcuts. Occasional light foxing. A most attractive book.
