The first written page is the owner of the album asking (in amusing style) for a gift of friendship of one small work of art for their album, and then for it to be returned with a signature.

There is a "Xmas 1912' annotation to the opening page with the first real content beginning in 1913.

This consists of a hardback album with padded hand embroidered covers with an art deco motif.

Dimensions: approx 23.5cm high x 18cm wide x 3.5cm deep.
