A nice copy of this book of the poetry of George Bruce (1909-2002), Scottish poet and radio journalist. The first free endpaper is warmly inscribed to P.J. - Pilkington Jackson (1887-1973), British sculptor, best known for his iconic statue of Robert the Bruce at Bannockburn. Also with the book is a facsimile letter from George Bruce to Pilkington Jackson from 1971, in appreciation for his congratulations for Bruce's Fellowship appointment at the University of Glasgow.
