Published by Carolus Tauchntiz, Lipsiae (Leipzig), 1812, 5 volumes, complete. Scarce as a set. As far as we can tell, this 1812 edition was the first Tauchntiz printing.

A good full polished calf leather binding with low raised bands, and gilt decoration. Covers rubbed and bumped with minor damages to leather. Hinges are worn and rubbed. Endpapers are intact (except for Vol II which is cracked and beginning to split), and have marbled design, matched to text block edges.

Owner's inscription to blank endpaper and title page. Some additional annotations to blanks at rear of Volume I. Text pages are clean and bright throughout, with occasional light spotting.
