A good full calf leather hardback. Spine with raised bands, gilt tooled decoration and red morocco title label. Covers worn and rubbed, and top of front cover joint starting, but all still bound. Spine with cracked crease marks.
Text is clean and bright throughout with the plays themselves actualy presented in very good condition with occasional minor flaws; 1 x 3cm marginal tear to first title page, aged offsetting to edges of endpapers, pages 69-76 sit slightly proud, occasional light scattered spotting, but nothing to spoil the enjoyment of this rare collection. The Glasgow printings with red printed text on the title pages.
