A handsome set of books by Henry Fielding (1707-1754), English novelist, dramatist and essayist. The books have been professionally rebound in matching russet cloth hardbacks, and are very smart indeed.

A near fine set of attractive hardback volumes which have been bound in a later russet cloth, with gilt titles to spine. Bindings are crisp and clean, and everything is soundly bound. Books are bound with white card endpapers.
Text is near fine throughout - bright and clear. The first volume with a portrait frontispiece by Hogarth, with offsetting. Overall a most attractive set for any library, of an uncommon complete edition.
