A set of 4 very substantial blue cloth hardbacks with gilt. The two later volumes are very good and the earlier volumes are good. With a little give in the spine due to the weight of the text blocks. Some shelf wear and bumping. The older volumes with a split endpaper at the inner joint a few pages in from the front cover, but all still bound.

Text in both is bright and clean throughout. Older volumes with some offsetting or minor spotting to endpapers. The second volume with a couple of small indentations to the covers breaking the cloth. Overall a good reference set.
