Very good maroon cloth hardbacks with gilt to spine with good dustjackets covered in protective plastic. Vol. I plastic is taped to covers, with offset adhesion marks to endpapers. Vol I dustjacket is in very good condition. Vol II plastic is not taped and could be removed from dustjacket if desired. Vol II dustjacket has greater wear with some tears to top front and lower rear, and with wear and rubbing to extremities.

Previous owner's signature to first free endpaper in both volumes. Text in both volumes is clean, bright and soundly bound and fold-out colour maps at rear are intact and in very good condition also.
