£80.00
SKU LAN8683

Birds of Our Country; Their Eggs, Nests, Life, Haunts and Identification, by Frank Finn & E. Kay Robinson, 2 Volume Set, complete.

Published by Hutchinson & Co., London. Undated, but Worldcat suggests a possible date of 1923. Probably originally published as a partworks set. Although primarily a UK publication, the contents are broader with a large 'Birds of the Empire' section.

A good set of red cloth hardbacks with red leather spine and corners. Gilt decoration to spine. With mild wear, a few marks, and bumping. All soundly bound. A little give in the spine, due to weight of text block.

Text is copiously illustrated with black and white images and colour plates, and is in very good condition. Some minor dust toning to edges of text block.

Text in English.
