A near fine attractive hardback volume which has been bound in a later maroon cloth, with gilt title to spine. Binding is crisp and clean, and everything is soundly bound. The Book is bound with white card endpapers.
Text is bright and clear throughout, with gilt top edge and deckled vertical and lower edges, as issued. Contains some lovely black and white photographic plates, and a fold-out colour map which is in fine condition. Very occasional light spotting and blank rear endpaper with some red staining along lower edge.
Overall, a handsome volume.
