Previous owner's inscription to first free endpaper and first pastedown, dated to 1896. Small bookseller's sticker to first pastedown. Just minor offsetting to endpapers.

Text is bright and clean. Some showthrough at gutter to binding between some gatherings. A little give in the spine. A good reading copy of this first edition.
