The image depicts 3 x 17th Century Siamese ambassadorial figures, as depicted by the French in the 17th Century. On the reverse of the frame are full details about each of the figures, but they are;
Pravisoutsonthoon, Ambassador of Siam to the Court of King Louis XIV of France. Better known as 'Kosa Pan'.
Louang Calyanaraa, First Secretary to the Ambassador of Siam.
Counsrivisaravakiaa, Deputy to the Ambasador of Siam, previously Ambassador to the Emperor of China.
This ambassadorial party were amongst the first Siamese people to visit Europe. They arrived together in France in June 1686. The prints are copies of published French images from the 17th Century, subsequently coloured. 20th Century prints. Very good condition.
