Published by G.P. Putnam's Sons, and Knickerbocker Press, New York and London, 1904. The book features the second edition of the original text (the second edition preface dated to 1897, and the first edition from 1891).

A very good full brown leather hardback in a full leather prize binding from 'Glasgow University. Gilt armorial and border to front cover with tooled gilt spine with Roman helmet, raised bands and burgundy morocco title label. Some minor shelf wear and scuffing to covers.
