Brown cloth hardback with gilt lettering. A very good copy with mild wear to cover. Gilt top edge to text block, and rough cut vertical and lower edges, as issued.

The book contains a series of striking colour plates, from paintings by Henry W. Kerr, tipped in to brown paper pages, and protected by printed tissue guards. All as called for. Text is bright, clean and soundly bound. A very attractive volume.
