A good black cloth hardback. Rubbed and bumped to corners and extremities with some cloth being rubbed away in those areas. Previous owner's signature to first pastedown. Gilt top edge to text block, though age toned and worn. Uncut edges to vertical and lower edges as issued. No splitting to inner joints at endpapers, although with show-through to webbing at title page. Occasional light spotting to text, but generally nice and clean.
