A good minus paperback with card wraps. Covers are soiled, bumped and worn and with some vertical tears to the edge of the spine at both head and tail. Ink stamp to front cover from Bernard W (Pat) Kearney, Member of Congress, 31st Dist., New York. There is also an illegible signature and date. Some rust marks from paperclip stain at top and around stapled binding.

Previous owner's signature (Skiffington) to Preface page. Text is bright and clean throughout, and the text block is soundly bound in itself.  Some staining to last few pages at rear. Although appearance is a bit tatty, a very usable copy.
