A partial set of works by Washington Irving comprising 7 Volumes (possibly from 12 or 13 initially?):

Vol I: Salmagundi; or, The Whim-Whams and Opinions of Launcelot Langstaff, Esq., 1857 / A History of New York, from the Beginning of the World to the End of the Dutch Dynasty, 1854 (2 Volumes bound as one).

Vol IV: Tales of A Traveller / The Alhambra (2 Volumes bound as one), 1850.

Vol. V: A Chronicle of the Conquest of Granada; to which is added Legends of the Conquest of Spain (2 Volumes bound as one), 1850.

Vol VI: The Life and Voyages of Christopher Columbus (2 Volumes bound as one), 1850.

Vol IX: Life of Mahomet, 1850 / Lives of the Successors of Mahomet, 1856 (2 Volumes bound as one), 1850.

Vol X: The Conquest of Florida, under Hernando de Soto (by Theodore Irving - Washington's nephew), 1850 / The Adventures of Captain Bonneville, U.S.A., in the Rocky Mountains and the Far West, 1854 (2 Volumes bound as one).

Vol XI: Life of George Washington (2 Volumes bound as one), 1855.

A good set of 7 hardbacks with leather spines and corners, with patterned cloth over boards. Covers are worn and rubbed and spine labels are worn or missing. 

Vol. V with split joint at inner front cover. Vol I with some endpaper splitting at inner joint. Some foxing to endpapers and volumes with pictorial frontispieces have foxed tissue guards. Text is generally clean with scattered foxing. An imperfect, but very readable set.
