Printed by Order of the Trustees, British Museum, London, 1904. First edition - this was the 3rd in the series of 3 successive volumes produced between 1892-1904. These early hardback catalogues are now uncommon.

A very good black hardback with gilt titles to spine. Minimal wear to covers with just a litlle bumping, and just a little give in the spine due to substantial text block.

Endpapers and title are age toned, and remainder of text is clean and bright throughout. Illustrated in black and white, with plates at rear including one fold-out.
