A Scottish Painter and His World; Gordon Gunn, by Neil Rhind.
Published by Impulse Publications Ltd, Aberdeen, 1972. 1st edition.
A very good hardback with dustjacket. Dustjacket is good with a few small nibbles near the top of the spine, and the rear is age toned. Not price-clipped. Soundly bound. The black cloth hardback is very good with facsimile signature in gold to front cover. Text is clean and bright throughout. Tissue guards which protect the colour plates are yellowed.
An interesting reference book on the life and works of Gordon Gunn, a Scottish artist known as "the man who paints planets". These cosmic paintings are illustrated as colour plates, with additional work in black and white.
300p text + full page colour plates + 67 black and white illustrations.
