A finely produced limited edition from the Nonesuch Press, A Stitch in Time; or Pride Prevents a Fall by James Laver reflects the Press’s characteristic blend of typographic elegance and understated craftsmanship. A very good copy of this most attractive issue by Nonesuch Press. Stiff board covers are wrapped in a marbled paper dustjacket with printed title label to front. Some light wear and bumping to extremities, and some cracking on the dustjacket fold along spine, but a most appealing publication.

Provenance: Bookplate of W.S. Adams to first free endpaper. With a design by Runciman, dated to 1973.
