Alexander Graham Munro (1903-1985) was a Scottish artist who trained at the Royal Scottish Academy and in Paris. He is best known for his works focusing on North Africa. In 1960 he was elected to the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolours.
Offered here is a card portfolio housing a collection of 8 original drawings and preparatory sketches - mainly from Morocco. They range in size from approximately 16cm x 11cm, to 30cm x 23cm, and are mixed media on a variety of paper types.
An interesting insight into the development of the artist's work.
