Antique bronze Shiva statue, Nataraja, 21cm high.

This beautiful statue depicts Shiva in his form as the cosmic dancer, Nataraja - Lord of the Dance.

Shiva, the Hindu God is depicted dancing on Apasmara, a demon, symbolising ignorance. The eternal dance of Shiva prevents Apasmara being killed which would otherwise mean the human race would become ignorant.

The statue is finely cast in genuine bronze and mounted on a brass base (with bronze finish).

Dimensions: approximately 21cm high x 14cm wide x 7cm deep.

Weight approx 1kg.
