Fragonard lived between 1732 and 1806. Halbou lived between 1730 and 1809. The original engraving was produced c. 1783,  but this engraving has been done more recently.

A beautifully produced vintage engraving, created in Paris, and framed behind glass. With hanging rings and cord fitted.

The engraving is in fine condition and the modern gilt frame is worn (presumably deliberately to make the frame look older, but it suits the engraving well). A beautifully executed engraving of real quality.
