Published by Longmans, Green, and Co, London, New York and Bombay. Printed in Great Britain. 1906, first edition. A book of travels in Greece, Turkey, Hungary, Austria, Egypt, Italy, Croatia and the Balkans. With 33 photographic illustrations.

A Fair to Good dark red cloth hardback with gilt to spine. Covers are bumped, rubbed and marked. endpapers split at inner joint, but text block still bound. Binding a bit shaken. Additional owner's signature to first free endpaper and small ink stamp to rear pastedown. Tissue guarded frontispiece. Text and plates are nice and clean throughout. Final blank endpaper appears to have been torn out.
