Published by J. Hetzel et Cie, Editeurs, Paris. 4th edition - Undated but c. 1875. The first edition was in 1869. Bound by Maclehose of Glasgow.

A very good hardback with leather spine and corners with marbled boards. Gilt title label. Spine is darkened. Minimal rubbing to boards. Cracking to 1.5cm of endpaper covering inner joint, but still soundly bound.

Text is nice and bright throughout with some age spotting to text. A handsome volume. Unusual to find in such a nice binding.
