Book Decanter Set, with Fine Leather Bindings and Wooden Case, with 2 lead crystal decanters

A really wonderful decanter set, disguised as a row of fine leather bound books. The books completely conceal the wooden case behind when viewed from the front. The spines are made in traditional bookbinding style and are completely convincing, with their raised bands and gilt tooled decoration and titles.

The book titles all feature classic Scottish texts.

The hardwood case is made of a wood, most likely mahogany, and has brass hinges, and the door has a clasp which clicks the door nicely closed and flush.

Inside are two Bohemian hand cut lead crystal decanters with stoppers, specified as being over 24% Pb0.

Condition is excellent with just very minor surface wear and the decanters don't appear to have ever been used, and still carry their Bohemian crystal labels.

A fabulous gift for any book lover.
