Published by Order of the Trustees of the British Museum, London, 1928. First edition was in 1912.

A good hardback with paper over boards. Covers shelfworn, with some discoloration and creased and ragged to spine. Hinges intact, but feel slightly fragile - as per all the Museum's guides of this period due to binding technique used. 

Occasional very minor age spot, but text is clean and bright throughout, and well illustrated with photographs of important manuscripts. An excellent reference book with very high quality content.
