Volume 1 Printed for His Majesty's Stationery Office by Wyman and Son Ltd, London and Volume 2 by Eyre and Spottiswoode.

Volume 1 is 1907 reprint (first printing in 1904) and Volume 2 is marked as Second Edition Revised from 1909. Both copies were purchased at the Victoria and Albert Museum as they have the Museum's own price stamp to the title page. The second volume is also titled as being 'By The Late Stephen Bushell' and contain a bound in acknowledgement slip to his valued work on the contents page.

Both volumes are in very good condition in the original dark green cloth publisher's binding. Covers have some minor shelf wear and bumping, but much better than most from this period. Volume 1 title page shows signs of foxing, but text is clean and bright throughout. Volume 2 contents page has signs of foxing, but remainder of text is also clean and bright. Overall a very good set.

Volume 1: 156pp, with 104 illustrations. Volume 2: xiii + 153pp, with 135 illustrations.
