Chinese Cultural Revolution Poster; 坚决按党中央十六条办事 ("Resolutely act according to the Central Committee's Sixteen Articles")

A striking and historically important Chinese Cultural Revolution propaganda poster directly referencing the foundational ideological directives of the early Cultural Revolution period. The composition depicts revolutionary youth and workers raising copies of the official Party document:

中国共产党中央委员会关于无产阶级文化大革命的决定
("Decision of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party Concerning the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution")

commonly known as the "Sixteen Articles", issued in August 1966 as one of the defining political texts of the Cultural Revolution.

We cannot verify the exact printing date - whether this was actually printed in 1967 or a later printing.

Overall condition is very good for a poster printed on fairly thin paper stock. Some light edge wear and minor signs of age. There is a 1cm closed tear to the left vertical edge, and a small piece of discreet tape strengthening in the centre of the lower edge. Colours remain bold and strong. A clean and highly displayable example overall.
