Cleaning Up, by Iain M. Banks, Signed Limited Novacon special edition – probably the rarest of Iain Banks published work. This was a special edition produced for the Novocon Science Fiction convention in Birmingham in 1987, where he was appearing as the guest of honour in October 1987. This was the same year as his first science fiction novel, 'Consider Phlebas', was published. The publication features his science fiction short story 'Cleaning Up'.
Published by BSFG (Birmingham Science Fiction Group), October 1987. First edition, limited to 500 numbered copies, this being number 446. Signed by him to the title page.
A fine (as new) paperback with laminated card cover. Text bright, clean and soundly bound.
With removable clear plastic wrap (presumably added later, but we are not sure if this was issued with the book at the time or not).
