A very scarce volume of this book which is huge in size and scope. Its illustrated pages packed with facts about Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela and Chile. Only 3 copies are listed worldwide in Worldcat (two in the USA and one in Germany), and none in the UK.

A Good copy approaching very good overall. Full burgundy leather cover with gilt and embossed bands. Leather rubbed and worn at extremities, corners bumped and general shelfwear and marking. Wear indentations to rear. Marbled endpapers to interiors with strengthening tape to joints (probably as issued). Text pages clean and bright. Gilt to all edges of the text block. Minor foxing to last few endpapers along edges and a small nibble to the centre edge of 5 of the pictorial sheets at rear just affecting the white border. Some fading to spine.
