A fair to good leather hardback. Covers are heavily worn with scuffs, bumps and wear to edges. Boards are covered in original calf and the leather spine possibly a later replacement, though of considerable age.
Endpapers are split at inner joints and are spotted and discolored. Text block is actually very good and is bright and clean with some age toning in places, and dust toning to edge of text block. Includes frontispiece illustration of Sidon, in Lebanon.
