Early Letters of Marcus Dods, 1850-1864, selected and edited by his Son, 1910 - possibly author inscribed

Published by Hodder and Stoughton, London, 1910. First edition.
A good dark green hardback, with some shelf wear. Gilt titles. Some offsetting to endpapers and a presentation inscription to first free endpaper - it is possible that this if from the author, but we cannot be definite as it is unsigned. It reads like a presentation copy from the author and is dated to the 1st January 1911 which would be the correct timeframe for such a copy.
Text is clean and bright. Just a little give in the spine. The first few text gatherings a little uneven in their binding and loosening. Ex-library with a few ink stamps.

Text in English.
